Bittergate: Hillary's Ringer Exposed

It would seem that one of those "bitter" Pennsylvanians isn't registered to vote in the state.

Hillary Clinton's campaign picked one of their campaign volunteers who lived 99.5 percent of his life in New Jersey and only recently moved to Pennsylvania for their Bittergate ad.

Is this a big deal? In the grand scheme of things, probably not. But I have to ask one fundamental question: if you're HRC and there is a perception outside of your campaign that you have a problem with the truth, why in the hell would you allow something like this to happen when it's likely to be scrutinized?

Personally, I hope the Obama campaign does nothing with it and I certainly hope that it's not blown up to some big deal, but the powers that be in her campaign are doing their candidates no favors with this kind of blatant stupidity.

For all the talk of a 24-hour news cycle, news reporting unless it's earth shattering, doesn't begin until 6 p.m. If Olbermann has it, it may have some legs. If not, it goes the way of the dinosaur.

I have been asking since super tuesday:

If she is so experienced and qualified as a tested politician and if Barack Obama is an upstart with no experience, how is it that in the face of an established Clinton political machine BO has won 2/3 of the states that have held contests to date, out raised her, compiled a larger number of donors, beat her in the irrelevant popular vote metric, and put the "inevitable" candidate in the position of desperate underdog?

The bitter comments aren't unimportant.

They're very important to Hillary's hopes. Which is why they're important to hillary supporters. But PA seems to be pretty much "yeah, duh?" and the Beltway types seem to be the only ones really offended. So, yeah, they're very important.

Ask Barack what explains the gun violence, bigotry, and church going in Chicago, or any other metropolitan area. Are those people bitter too, because they don't live in the rust belt. Obama chose to use country bumpkins in Pennsylvania to do what, to make what point? Why did he focus on people in PA and rural people to call them bitter? Might as well tell the truth. "You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them."

He was talking about small town PA AND other states.

So, someone from another state - NOT PA - in a Hillary ad is a BIG DEAL for Obama supporters?

Reading Obama supporters, it appears that they can't STAND Hillary - no matter what she says AND it's been that way for quite some time?! You like your candidate - GREAT! Hillary is NOT the wicked witch that the Republicans painted her to be just because she is seeking the same job that Obama wants!

I read at the beginning of the campaign that Hillary snubbed Obama because she was angry that he had decided to run for Prez? The talk was something along the lines that she was against Obama because she thought SHE should be President (the audacity of such a thought), that SHE had the right to be President. It was even hinted that she didn't think Obama had the right to run.

Talk about using Republican talking points and tactics!!!

If you're going to nitpick, and boy oh boy are you nitpicking, to defend this really silly sloppy lack of vetting (after how many lack-of-vetting mistakes?) you might want to note that the guy is from Jersey, which is pretty not-midwest.
